We are moving along with artwork, awaiting approvals from band members. Crunching numbers and mastering music that will make up what will be the third installment of Candirias Remix and rare Tracks series, Toying With the Insanities. Volume III will consist of a limited press of 300 12" Lps. Manufactured by the very best in the business, Pirates Press. IT will also be distributed digitally world wide. We are so completely "stoked" to get this one out. This is the front and back of the art respectively so far.. it may change but were hoping this is it.

Blabbermouth, Frantik, and BW&BK CANDIRIA To Release Four-Volume Set Of Rarities And Remixes - July 1, 2009
Brooklyn's jazzed-infused-metal experimentalists CANDIRIA are back and once again ready to cross the lines of convention as they release a four-volume set of rarities and remixes, "Toying With The Insanities". Volumes one and two of "Toying With the Insanities" will be made available on September 9 on Rising Pulse Records, while the final two volumes are slated for an early 2010 release. All four volumes will be issued digitally via iTunes, Amazon and other digital retailers, while 1,000 limited CDs of Volume One and 300 limited LPs of Volume Two will be pressed.
"Toying With The Insanities" marks the band's first release since March 2009's "Kiss The Lie" which was delayed two years due to constraints with the band's previous label. After numerous speed bumps, "Kiss The Lie" was released on a small scale, without the assistance of a major label.
The remixed tracks on "Toying With The Insanities" were taken from CANDIRIA's first three albums and will feature contributions from underground, eclectic acts such as DALEK, DUB TRIO, GHOSTS OF THE CANAL, KAYO DOT and members of THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN, FISHBONE, PEEPING TOM and more.
"This is something that [frontman] Carley Coma and I have discussed for a few years and since I now have my own label and CANDIRIA officially owns the rights to the first three releases, we decided to put the series out," comments CANDIRIA guitarist John Lamacchia.

New York City's Candiria is set to release the first and second portions of their four volume collection of rarities and remixes. Titled "Toying With The Insanities," volumes 1 and 2 will hit streets on September 9th. The material will be available digitally on iTunes (in addition to most online outlets) in addition to a limited pressing of CDs and LPs (volume 1, 1000 CDs / volume 2, 300 LPs). Guitarist John Lamacchia is putting the release out through his Brooklyn based label, Rising Pulse Records.
The remixed tracks will be from the band's first three records ("The Process of Self Development," "Beyond Reasonable Doubt," "Surrealistic Madness"). As previously noted, contributions on the remixes come from acts such as Dalek, Dub Trio, Ghosts of the Canal, Kayo Dot, members of Dillinger Escape Plan, Fishbone, Peeping Tom and more.
Meanwhile, Candiria has also been working on new material as of late. Some of the new songs will likely appear on volumes 3 and 4, which is expected to surface in early-2010. Currently, Candiria consists of Carley Coma, Mike MacIvor, and John Lamacchia. And although drummer Kenneth Schalk left the group in 2006 and subsequently moved to the West Coast, he did contribute to at least two of the remix tracks on volume 1 and will also be drumming on the band's new tracks.

Candiria Is 'Toying With The Insanities'
Jun 29, 2009
Story by: Michael Schwab
Are they a metal band? A hip-hop group? Since their inception in 1992, Brooklyn-based Candiria has been drawing the two genres closer together with their experimental combination of aggressive music. The group has just announced the release of a set of remixes and rarities, titled Toying With The Insanities. The set will come in four volumes (only one of which has a confirmed tracklist), with the last two volumes not expected to be released until 2010. The first two volumes will be released digitally via iTunes, Amazon and other digital retailers on September 9, along with limited pressings of CDs and LPs. While it's not likely that they will be performing live anytime soon (half of the band has departed its ranks due to creative differences), remaining members Carley Coma (vocals) and John Lamacchia (guitar) report that they may continue their endeavors as a rhythm section-less electronica project.
